This Privacy Policy explains how Transformative ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information through transformative.studio. Our AI-led research interviews are also covered by our Research Privacy Notice. If the two differ for a research interview, the Research Privacy Notice controls.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us. Contact inquiries may include your name, email, organization, industry, selected topic, and message. Newsletter subscriptions collect your email address. Research applications collect your name, work email, organization, and information about your work. AI Data Partnerships inquiries collect your name, work email, company, role, and description of the work your company documents. Interview recordings, transcripts, and research information are described in the Research Privacy Notice.

Technical information

Our hosting and service providers may process technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and security logs. We use cookies and browser storage to support site functionality, including authenticated sessions. Please do not submit confidential records, sensitive personal information, or personal information about other people.

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We use analytics provided through our website platform to measure site usage. We do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through the site, so the site does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to you; send the newsletter you requested; conduct and analyze research; evaluate potential studio, investment, advisory, and data partnership opportunities; operate, secure, and improve the site; and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that host and operate the site, measure usage, deliver our newsletter, and support research interviews. These include our website platform, Supabase, beehiiv, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs, as applicable. We may also share information with affiliated companies for the purposes above; professional advisors; parties where required by law or to protect rights and safety; and parties involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.

Retention

Retention depends on the type of information, the relationship, and applicable legal obligations. Inquiry records support responses and ongoing relationship management. Newsletter subscription information supports delivery and unsubscribe requests. Research records are retained as described in the Research Privacy Notice. Information may be retained longer when required by law.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided through our contact page. Identify the request as a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in other countries.

Children

The site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
